Now more than ever, it’s not the degree you have, who you know, or how much experience you have, that determines your employment security and your income.  

Your income will be determined by the number of people you serve.

Why do some people make $1 million and other make $40,000 – it most cases, it’s almost always related to the impact they have tied to the number of people they connect with.

Consider the income of iconic commercial actors.

Flo – Progressive Insurance – Stephanie Courtney – Salary: $8 million

What you probably didn’t know is that Jagodowski and his fellow actor, Pete Grosz, improvise almost all of their lines whenever they appear in the commercials

Imagine being able to get rich by saying five simple words “Can you hear me now?” Well, Paul Marcelli managed to do just that. He appeared in the popular Verizon ads, used this phrase, and started off his acting career. Thanks to the universal coverage and popularity of Verizon ads, the phrase became one of the most oft-used phrases. Marcelli worked with Verizon for 10 years. Then, he decided to change teams and he started doing commercials for Sprint. His new tagline is, “Can you hear that?”

Video app Triller just hired 18-year-old Canadian TikTok star Josh Richards as its chief strategy officer who already has a net worth of $400,000 and 15 million fans on the platform.

Calvin Harris’ Net Worth: $190 Million

His real name is Adam Richard. When Adam was younger, he would stack shelves in supermarkets and work at a local fish processing factory in order to earn the money he needed for DJ gear. He gradually began to produce records here and there, and eventually caught the eye of Three Six Zero Group, who signed him later on. Calvin Harris is the richest DJ in the world with a net worth of $190 million.

You may have heard the story of the Pet Rock that featured a stone that could be purchased in bulk for less than a penny, retailed for $3.95, and made inventor Gary Dahl a millionaire. Gary Dahl sold 5 million of the packages in 6 MONTHS and made cool $15 million. Oh, I almost forgot – the Internet hadn’t been invented yet.

Stop for a moment and think about what these people have in common.

They all became remarkable by scaling their talent to reach a global market – and you can too.

Take a “gap year” in your brain to think about what you can change that will take you to where you want to be.

Age is more often than not, blind to what and when you can achieve success. Expect failure along the way but to those with determination, the rewards may be closer than you think.
